African Youth Mentorship Network

ORGANIZATION

The African Youth Mentorship Network is a foundation which aims to inspire, develop and empower African Youth through education and mentorship programs. Our goal is to build emotionally intelligent, socially responsible and self-confident citizens.

AYMN seeks to do a series of projects that foster the development of well-rounded individuals.  While incorporating the 2020 agenda, AYMN will be educating and mentoring youth for change. Considering the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), AYMN will empower youth with competences that inspire sustainable development. AYMN will work with both boys and boys using several varied innovative approaches.  The first pilot project, BECOME will focus on a mentorship model for adolescent boys between the ages of 12 to 18 who lack positive male role models in their lives.

The BECOME project will invest in positive mentorship and education which is key to countering extremism and achieving social cohesion, security, good citizenship and harmony. Annually targeting 100 fatherless boys from single homes and orphans living in urban areas.
